Galberth Health’s therapists assist in enhancing quality of life by optimizing performance in daily routine tasks. Our treatments are geared toward maximizing the skill set and functional independence of our seniors in the environment that is most appropriate for their overall success. Our specialty areas include, but are not limited to, ADL retraining (bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.), fall prevention, home modifications, functional mobility and cognitive/behavior management for those with dementia diagnoses. We focus on creating, recovering and/or sustaining both physical and cognitive abilities over time due to aging.
Alzheimer’s & Dementia Training
Galberth Health has a devoted interest in ensuring that those affected by Alzheimer’s or other related dementia receive first-rate care. The best way to guarantee this high quality of care is by providing all caregivers, both facility and in-home, with trainings on these conditions and how to deal with their effects. We not only understand the progression of these diseases but the uniqueness in its presentation. Home Assessment
Our company understands the dynamics of aging in place and the need for homes that reflects one's needs and abilities. We provide home assessments that result in added resources, accommodations and modifications made for our seniors with cognitive impairments. These changes will ensure safety, convenience and independence for seniors in their home as well as peace of mind for their caregivers.
Our MindfulCARE Tech Program offers personalized assistance to caregivers seeking to understand and implement technology based solutions that will promote safety and independence for their loved ones with dementia.
Dementia Care Consultations
Galberth Health provides virtual and in-person consultations to family members of loved ones diagnosed with dementia. These consultations are to provide further insight into the diagnosis and problem-solve approaches that maximize independence and decrease overall caregiver burden.
